  • Greg Hawkes was great with "The Cars" and he still rocks, this sounds dynamite. Thanks for the post.

  • I'll be putting up more of him soon.

  • Thats the coolest thing I have ever seen...

From Keys to the Uke..Thank You!

  • you're welcome.

  • Wow. This rivals the Cars.

  • That's cuz it's Greg Hawkes from The Cars.

  • The word "great" does not describe Greg, how about "The Master" of all Keys. He deserves more credit bestowed on him than he has gotten over the years. The Cars are one of the best bands ever and one of the reasons why is, "Greg Hawkes". Thanks for Posting !!!!.

  • It's amazing what you can do with two dinky guitars and a fantastic song.

  • I love to hear Greg sing because his diction is impeccable and you can hear every single word. He also has quite a nice singing voice that compliments The Cars' sound, and I agree that he's an inextricably important part of that band, undisputed master of the synthesizer, and multi-talented on many instruments as demonstrated by their recent tour. And besides, I just love synthesizer and he is the MASTER! to repeat myself.

  • Absolutely fabulous! Greg has always been sooo underated. Love what he did with this song and this compliment is coming from a HUGE Ben fan (love ya still Ben!) RIP

  • Creative genius! Join me and other Greg Hawkes fans at the Todd Rundgren Musical Survival Camp (search it online) June 20 - 24, 2011 in the Catskills. All-inclusive, interdisciplinary workshops with Greg Hawkes, Todd and Michele Rundgren, Prairie Prince, rock clothier Rachel Culp and many rock biz experts and Rundgren's musical contempories.

  • Great version !!!!!

  • always loved the Mighty Greh Hawkes

  • There is so much awesome material like this out there, I can't understand why 'classic rock' stations don't stop playing the same rotation from the summer of 1979.

  • That's a musician, he's great!!!

  • @bigguy418 SOme asshole on another video called him a wannabe...so I responded telling him he just hated Greg and anyone who attains any degree of fame because he was a loser douchewad.

  • very cool! I think he sounds better than the new cars singer.
