1942, public domain cartoon by Bob Clampett. Completely insane.

  • wow--posting SOMEONE ELSE'S work while trashing other people's efforts--how original.

  • @sepiasiren

    aw, bb, it's okay.

put your head on my shoulder, tell me your woes.

  • @sepiasiren aw shucks, you blocked me. that's sad! i was hoping to reply directly to the statements you made to me.

by the logic of you and your friend, i should not be able to critique a novel ever, since i'm not a published author. or i can't tell when a meal i've been served is mediocre because i'm not an iron chef.

weird that you originally were gracious in accepting my critique until someone else blazed a trail. that's cool too! i can take it. give me moar.

  • Who's the guy narrating the story?

  • This a favourite of mine <3

  • I first watched this old"Loney Tunes"movie cartoons on

WOR TV Ch.9 NYC's "Looney Tunes Show"50 years ago. Herb Sheldon was the show's second host and this

was the most offbeat cartoon..because of the live action

    footage.

  • ah, thank you. my google-fu turned up nothing.

  • Leo White, who's film career spans all the way back to 1911 according to IMDB.

  • He sang with Spike Jones and his city slickers in the song "Clink Clink Another Drink".

  • i don't know...but whoever it was they were lip-syncing to Mel Blanc...that's his natural voice doing the talking/singing...as the cartoon goes on you'll be able to really tell that's Mel's voice. for those not familiar with Mel's singing voice there's a CD available at various old-time radio web-sites. he was a good singer of those kinds of songs.

trademark Bob Clampett direction! it's quite amusing when the two females go at it with a stinger fight. hahaha
