@MOBRUL3S666 never play jazz loud. it defeats the purpose of listening to artistic music. play ac/dc loud, but not getz, turrentine, etc. don't play it soft either--but not LOUD. of course i'm talking about his straight ahead soul jazz sides with jimmy smith, etc., not his later commercial sell-out stuff like we hear on this vid.

Love Stanley Turrentine. His "Ballads" cd is and has been a constant in my player for years. Awesome after a grinding work day. Mix a drink, and put it on loud.. R.I.P.
