  • what a blast. i used to live in gallants lane, east farleigh.

eternal thanks to the kent police driving school, i took a course there aged 18 and have never forgotten what i learnt. i am now 46, live in australia and respond fire trucks on the great ocean road. still to this day i sometimes hear that voice saying "never let yourself become the meat in the sandwich"

  • I was trained the old way, and Yes you never forget some of the phrases. A bet the weather is a bit better where you are.....

Have a good Christmas and thanks for watching

  • Is the guy who narrator Barry Kenward by any chance?

  • I will have a look for you...

  • Aye them were the days. People seemed to take more pride and had a profesional approach. Sad but you cant relive the past i guess

  • I could not echo you comments better...

    My feelings exactly

    Regards

    Nigel

  • My dad was doing a commentry like this today in the car. He was making me laugh. The amount of information he spotted and the speed he was saying it was very fast. I think every driver should have a go, it's a lot of fun and your friends can point if you missed anything or vica verca(which you shouldn't or you should not be on the road). The only trouble is you can't say all the hazzards as quickly as you can think and identify them. Everyone be aware of everything around you and your be safer.

  • 2:56 - "come in towards the nearside for right hand bend." Road is bending to the left at time, obscuring visibility of what is on the immediate road, hence no mention of "junction" on the left tha only becomes visible later due to being tucked in to the kerb. It's as if the left hand wasn't there.

  • Great vidio

  • Brilliant. Who says men can't multitask?! Great riding, eyes everywhere mind focused. Love the GPO van!
