Gutiar World July 2008 Presents: Joe Satriani! He teaches you how to play fast. Joe Satriani is one of the best guitarists ever, so I bet this will be convincing to guitar players out there. Although, the reason this is shortened is because it was normally 11 minutes long, so I downloaded the unregistered AVS video converter. Sorry about the AVS thing that shows up every couple minutes. But otherwise, it's a great video and I hope that you'll think that too.

  • Every Joe Satriani Song is a fuckin' WORK OF ART! It's the most technical scales and skills melt into beautiful Melodies, SATCH TOTALLY RULES THUMBS UP IF YOU AGREE!

  • @NixxerJixxerWixxer Kirk actually left the Satch lessons as one of the most original and terrifying lead players on the thrash scene. his blistering ultra emotional lead breaks on Blackened, Battery, Shortest Straw, Fade to Black and Call of Kthulu were nothing short of genius. wah drenched legato runs, tapping, space age noises, double stops, and hints of be-bop, jazz phrasing as well as Hendrix style psychedelia made him perfect for the dissonant and atonal Heltfield.

    Bob Rock ruined him.

  • @loknloll Kirk also took lessons from Yngwie Malmsteen...you can notice his influence on the Ride the Lightning album and somewhat on Master of Puppets.

  • @Sunderlanding smoke another one retard..

  • Very nice guy. Smart too!

  • @loknloll Yeah I get you now. Too bad Kirk didn't think for himself. Alex Skolnick took lessons from Satch too. Alex has ripping solos.
