This was such amazing moment in my life! I was still in Cuba under the oppressive boot of the communist slavery system. And when this happened, just the notion of americans kicking the asses of these Cuban troops sent by the oppressor of Cuba to enslave that country was such a happy event!!!!!

I love it. THREE regular Army infantry companies were pinned down on the Southeast corner of this island doing absolutely nothing but get killed, while the Rangers took some people from a school, meanwhile, two US Marine Battalions were destroying everything on the Northwestern corner of the island, working their way to the middle. Nonetheless, the Army companies are larger than Marine BN's, yet Marines kicked ass. US Marines- providing the enemy a chance to die for their country since 1775

I think it needs to be said because all of these documentaries and accounts keep making the same flawed statement. Let it be known that the CUBANS ONLY FOUGHT AT POINT SALINE AIRPORT. The anti aircraft gunners and all the other combat the American Troops ecountered were 100% GRENADIAN. Get your facts straight guys. Cubans were in no other battle in this invasion major or minor. As to if the invasion was right or wrong. Its already done and the guys jailed after are all free so you decide.

@publicmario17 didn't you know that the French army provided antiterrorist training to the US military because of France's successful combat experiance against the algerian terrorist? the tactics the US uses in Irak, Afganistan were used by the French in the 60's in Algeria (helicopters etc...)you are stupid for underestimating the French or you just lack the knowlege.
