WRC Wales Rally GB 2011 SS16 ( should have been STOPPED!!)

It was painfull to watch these drivers giving their all, unaware of the massive hole that had appeared the other side fo the jump, the sound of laughter comes from spectators who had been drinking heavily.spectators can be heard calling for the cars to be slowed down.It took jason Pritchards navigator to get the marshals in gear. I think Craig Breen owes him a few beers!!! gutted for Elfyn and Jason. What is so funny about people smashing there cars up after spending so much time and money prepairing them. I just can't understand how any body can stand there laughing , I know rallying is hard on cars but that is pointless and should have been stopped or somebody trying to worn the drivers

The marshals should hang their heads in shame. But then, never bring an arsehole to a rally, for you'll be sure to find one there.

That's just ridiculous what went on there. Why did a spectator not intervene if a marshal was too busy laughing. The MSA should look into this.

@nickflame9 I understand that conditions change in rallying and some can boarder on the extreme and some cars can take it better than others. but i'm not talking about every other rally i'm just pointing out that bit on that rally. So do you call that rallying at 1.43 when the subaru smashes the front end quite severely probably damaging the intercooler and the radiator. Bet he wasn't giggling like the people stood at the side of the camcorder!

@CHUFFERNELSON excuse me sir, but that is rally, that is what it is all about, the fact that you don't know the terrain ahead is what rally is about, yes the co-driver will tell you some, but that is what makes rally so exciting and unpredictable fun, not like some circuit car going round and round the same ole track, in rally conditions change. makes winners or loosers.
