This was on the Young and the Restless. If I'm not mistaken, this aired April 1992. Sorry I don't have any more scenes from that.

Yes that's correct. Sheila(Kimberlin Brown) premiered on BB May 8, 1992 if I'm not mistaken.

Bill Bell hit a genius zenith when he created Sheila Carter. Not since Victor Newman had there been such a unique, captivating and unforgettably vivid character. Sheila is one of the immortals of American soap, not just as a 'villain', but a character in general. You think you know her? Think again. It's a hard time summing this one up.

Absolutely spell-binding soap, elevated to its highest level. One of the best storylines ever to grace daytime. The reprucussions stretched so far and so deep, and it made for such an intriguing show..

Can't find writing like that anymore.

Absolutely. They should never have made Shiela look like Phyllis. That made no sense to me either. If only there were a way to unwrite that but it probably isn't possible.

Unfortunately, the writers at both Y&R and B&B have ruined the Shelia Carter character beyond repair. After that Phyllis/Shelia plastic surgery BS, they lost me as a long time viewer. The writers just got too damn ridiculous with this character. Shelia was the beginning (when they brought her back in 2005) of the end for Y&R's down fall in the ratings (ironically) in my opinon.

How could I forget to mention Shiela on B+B. You're right. She was even more evil on that show. The wedding dress fight between her and Lauren, the scene where she tried to drown Lauren and trying to poison Stephanie with mercury were epic. She would fix the messes both shows are currently in if they would just bring her back.

Kimberlin Brown was the bestt actress Y+R ever had. If only they could find a way to bring her back. The best Y+R storyline ever. I have chills watching this.

I love how calm Shiela is at the beginning! There's no better way to make a mad person madder than to stay calm.
