anyone who says an e-tec has less top speed than any other motor is an idiot. All the motors are about the same for top end. HP ratings are verified. 2 stroke e-tecs have more torque at low revs and are lighter than 4 strokes for many horsepowers - very large difference for some. Top speed and rpm's are 99% determined by prop selection and have nothing to do with the brand of motor, duh.
