My new scythe has arrived. Lawnmower has been idled. Using this permaculture implement on your property increase your intimacy with the land. it take a little longer to cut the grass but your property will be having less and less grass and more and more edibles as permaculture is integrated into your daily lifestyle. It's an enjoyable part of the process

  • Great way to reduce carbon and canine footprints in one fell swoop

  • The lion-dog-beast from 5:28 is actually standing up, except it's just had its legs lopped off

  • Seven minutes of talking and you are still unable to cut a single blade of grass, practice more next time before you post a video on you tube. You bring shame to the Scythe and all that ever have and will use it.

  • @5:34 ...

Steve Erwin: "Now lhook ohver theerr... the ferocious dog-lion waits for its prey to come near!"

  • you fuckin stupid dumbass, you dont know how to cut grass!

  • What a noob!

  • This is so funny. The 'sighthe' is on back to front and the dogs are waiting to have their legs trimmed. Get this off the web - quick. Pleeese or something or someone's going be in contact with the earth for real and it won't be calming. Seriously tho' how about a before and after video showing how you've improved and - please - that the weird dogs are still walking on all fours..

  • This person is defiantly a newbie to scything, and his cutting demonstration gives a fine and very productive instrument a very bad rap. He should be walking in one direction, forward into the uncut grass, and with the end of the stroke on the edge of of the previously cut row. If he did the properly he would be leaving very nice and neat winrows of cut material rather than the mess he's leaving. And a properly sharpened and used scythe cuts WAY better than this demo.

  • at 5:28 the dog looks like a lion.
