This year Broadcast Video Expo was pretty much dominated by 3D stuff. Almost everybody was showing off their dual RED ONE 3D rigs. Many companies had on their footage on display using the famous polarised 3D tv - JVC 46" GD-463D10. Not a big fan of the polirised tv effect but it did look decent. PNY had a super PC for nVidia 3D Vision running on Quadro FX4800 which I considered to be best looking 3D effect on the show, even on the Samsung 2233RZ. Sky showed us some of their footage on the JVC too, including the recent football game shown in secret pubs.
On top of that all there was a lot of seminars focused on 3D. Crowds have been queueing to get the tickets for them, and when all the tickets been gone, they still let people stand behind the seating area.
So to conclude , 3D showed quite a lot of interest this year at BVE.

Very cool - very informative BVE 2010, lots to consider regarding quite convoluted 3D post...
