Twin bambis - 2 friendly fawns just born barely walking

We found these twins on the hill above our trailer while their mother was out shopping. They still had their umbilical cords attached and were very shaky on their feet.

Not that I have a problem with real hunting, I got pretty annoyed later that year when the deer came and ate my whole garden. There are way too many deer in that part of the country. We need to bring back the wolves--I have heard that the big cats are moving back into the area tho.

Thanks NatsuoDesire! The twins were fine we saw them many times later that year and they didn't care for me at all. Actually funny thing is the property we filmed them on had a few deer blinds on it from the previous owners as well as a hunting cabin that they used to sit in and point their guns out the window. They would drop some apples or some kind of food the deer liked right outside the window so they had a point blank shot at the deer that came to eat the food! Pretty shocking.

I wouldn't do that , because if a game warden just randomly popped up, you would be fined for baiting if you actually did it or not, well of course unless you live in Michigan, Wisconsin, Texas or Maryland.

@TheOnlyBlueStopSign yeah pretty crazy, I guess they used to get in trouble all the time but had some way of getting around it or getting left alone or something. I don't really know all the history of the area that well, just finding out about it as I go along.
