@minniedonuts432 Depends on the context. In the form of a direct object, lui can mean him or her. But if it's just a regular object, then lui is him and elle is her. At least, that's how I think the grammar works. There might be exceptions, or I might have stated the wrong conditions, but I'm absolutely certain that context is key.
