Border Collies aren't really dogs - they're people in fur suits. They are so easy to train and so intelligent it's scary.

By the way:
FreestyleNW, are you the dog trainer who can be seen in the video?
Max is clever! I liked the part when he offers some other tricks he has learned in former times in order to get the click. He is really cute.

My dog has learned many tricks with this clicker, but as fast he he learns new tricks, he realizes when I don't have any treats with me, so he quickly loses the interest in the noise of the click.
My dog demands a payment;-)

There are a couple things to do in your case. First, once the behavior is learned, put him on a variable rate of reinforcement. So instead of getting a treat every time he does the trick, he gets one after two repetitions. Also you want to lose the treats once the behavior is learned. Try replacing the treats with a ball or favorite toy. Payment can be anything, praise, a thrown ball, etc.
