Here's a medley of the eight performances by contestants from six countries as they appeared before an audience of 771 at the Now Lounge event on Sep. 17.
The Gaijin Idol Contestants were (in order of performance):
Tim Penn, (America), Guitarist and singer
Emma Kuwano (Philippines), Singer
Anto Lloyd, (Canada), Vogue dancer
Chase & Carl (Hawaii), Guitarist & singer
Amos Dunn, (Australia), Singer-songwriter
Jay Gutta (America), Rapper
Jovana Bardiaux, (Serbia), Singer
Leila (Middle East), Belly dancer
The second runner-up was Anto Lloyd a Vogue dancer. The first-runner-up was an Australian singer-songwriter, Amos Dunn and ta-ta-ta-dum! ...this year's Gaijin Idol grand prize went to 28 year-old singer Jovana Bardiaux from Serbia. Congratulations!
