Iran, Armenia urge bolstering ties

Armenian Parliament Speaker Tigran Torosyan has stressed expansion of parliamentary, political, economic and cultural ties with Iran.

In a working breakfast with the visiting Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Yerevan Tuesday, Torosyan invited him to visit Armenia's National Assembly during his next trip.

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and his Armenian counterpart Vartan Oskanian, Caretaker of Iran's Oil Ministry Gholam-Hossein Nozari and Armenian Energy Minister Armen Movsisyan also participated in the meeting.

Ahmadinejad said promotion of bilateral parliamentary relations would bring the two nations closer to each other.
