More than ever before, Pittsburgh continues to shine. The physical beauty of the city, the wealth of art and culture, the opportunities to enjoy Pittsburghs trails and rivers are combined to create a memorable experience for travelers of all types. Add to that the attractiveness of the David L. Lawrence Convention Center - the countrys largest LEED certified green convention center and youve got a superb destination. In fact, the reason that Pittsburgh was selected to host the G-20 Summit is that it serves as a model for economic and environmental transformation in the United States and abroad.

  • @hisloveisthedrug Sorry to hear that! :-( I can't believe that happened... I have been there so many times and know so many people who live out there. Most areas are a great place to live. Being hit by stray gunfire is very rare like being struck by lightning. Unfortunately, like many other cities there are bad areas. Pittsburgh has a lower crime rate than where I live which is in Harrisburg, Pa. I'm moving out to Pitt soon. Pitt was ranked #7 in the Forbes safest city to live in.

  • i visited pittsburgh a month ago to see where my family came from..quickly learned why they left..on my way to Kennywood i got hit in arm by stray gunfire..thanks for the great trip!!
