as announced ill be uploading videos of every map of scythe x megawad.
I will also try to speedrun some of the first maps, and here you are: map 04. The time is far from being competitive with "monsters" like Kimo, who completely stole my wish to challenge any map anylonger after seeing how much distance there is between our times in some levels :)
this map is very hard to speedrun, because of several rooms.
My aim was below one minute, but i couldn't get it yet. I might try again to challenge the map to get something around 00:55s.
My route involves the green armour, and alas to use rockets to clear the monsters in front of it. Lately ive tried for some hours to run past, saving rockets and skipping the armour, but i was dead before reaching the exit for one reason of another. Im infact never taking the blue armour, to save some seconds, and trying to avoid most of the enemies. After the bluekey ive stood in the alcove 1 second to get the imps out of the way and being able to run past; most of the map has to be thought in this way, because there aren't many large areas. Using the rockets in strategic points where u cant avoid fights helps greatly in improving the time.
this is one of the map i spent most of my time with, so, in case you think this could be a rather cool time, thats the only reason ;D
in other maps im far from being satisfied with my results!

Fortunately for yourself, you bear a beast of a PC, that is the reason I cap my framerate whilst recording as I have not even a dual core processor. The reason? The majority of games I play don't even use a graphics card, therefore my only incentive to upgrade would be to enhance the quality of recording, a reason to minor if you ask me.

Furthermore is it just me or is the sound not working?
