@ShowToddSomeLove Basically what Punk is doing is nothing grand at all. If he was in a storyline prior to 2003 and talked like he was a messiah who is all knowing of the reality and spoke the truth, he wouldn't be receiving the same pop as he is getting right now. He was given the perfect timing by the WWE creative team since he brought something new to the company that has not been seen in a long time.

What Punk is doing now, can't touch what The Rock has been doing for years.

@ShowToddSomeLove Rock's catchphrase spewing boring shit? What Rock has is charisma and attitude which makes him the perfect entertainer. And WWE isn't real, it's entertainment.

Punk comes off as a savior because he spoke the truth at the perfect time which was the peak or climax of the garbage WWE has been doing the past few years. But if you actually watched the WWF up until 2002, what Punk says in his promos is incomparable to what Taker, Austin, HHH, Rock, Angle used to say.
