yeah damn caterpillars ate my whole bush!! but i got 2 more =D... yeah i dont recommend trying datura inoxia unless you very very experienced... so have fun but be safe... =P peace out

ah, it's been too long since I've watched Inoxia bloom. however, I just found some Stramonium outside. (I started getting all giddy when I saw it.)

are you sure that's inoxia, looks much more like stramonium to me. my inoxia has rounded leaves, yours (as i said) look like another species

I think you're right, it's not inoxia -- but I know it's not stramonium by the shape/color of the seeds. I did some research, and decided it must be D. wrightii.

Yes, that's true. This one got pollinated by a June bug... usually it's Hawk Moths that do the work. Hawk Moth caterpillars hatch on daturas, and eat the leaves, making themselves "poisonous" for birds to eat... it's their defense.
I've heard you can have interesting dreams at night from sniffing the flowers before bed or from having a vase of them on your nightstand.
I do NOT advocate consuming datura internally. A number of kids/teens die every year from trying the stuff. Very unpleasant.
