This will solve our bad economy? Jail employers? Cripple entire industries? Spend billions sending back 12 million people, who are going to come back again anyway? Have them dump loans, mortgages, car notes, credit card/store payments, default by the millions? Take their children who are here legally, feed & care for them with goverment money? @highonhayek No country in the world wants that and that is why every country has immigration laws. If you think that law needs to be abolished then you are either a criminal, selfish or in need of mental therapy.

Tell you what. You get Mexico to change it's law so there is no immigration laws and I you will see what happens. No politician is that stupid that they will want their country to have open borders.

I understand that they are here legally. What I am saying is that the law that Mexicans break, which is of course what makes them 'illegals' in the first place, is a bad law and one that must be abolished.

If I understand you right, your position is "it's the law and they broke it". As if all laws are legitimate. I will assume that you respect the 2nd Amd. Say the federal government repealed the 2nd. Would you voluntarily give up your arms? after all, you're "breaking the law" if you don't.

Well "we" don't enact laws that prohibit foreigners from crossing borders. The government does that. There exists a very clear line of demarcation between the actions of a "we" (market processes) and the "we"(the government) which floats atop your premises.

And, yes, that would be okay for me. From dirt poor illiterate Afghans to highly educated and productive Indians, I want ALL of these people in the country.
