The problem is that the wave generators are usually custom-made and therefore expensive to produce. This makes the Pay-off period very long. With this technique, the standard generators used, thus keeping costs low.

its the same idea like Bicycle gear and the axial accept one direction from the left gear and when u change its direction the other gear changed so it start push the axial in same direction

Well naturally you've got a ratchet/clutch in the middle of that thing that only turns the output shaft in one direction from two opposite turning shafts. How is that so revolutionary? And why do you think wave power generation needs constant rotation? It actually doesn't.

I think nostradamus used one as a childs plaything the day he dreamed of nazi tanks and world wars. but in all seriousness, does anyone see the amount of energy spent in creating energy? its about as effecient and hooking a tradmill up to a cd player's disk rotator motor to create energy. heres and idea, turn the oceans into a world wide saltwater batter! three hundred sextillion volts anyone?
