Some one didnet love me the way I wanted them to, boohooboohoo, some one did not do what I EXPECTED them to. oh poor me boohoo, they must be soulless evil and bad because their world does not rotate around me........... oh booo hooo! lmbo!

The distinction between normal - narcissist/psychpath seems to be very small. I gather the variable that distinguishes them seems to be Empathy. Empathy, acting without sensitivity or conscionce. For the narcissist right, morality, conscious and the force seems to be always on his side. The others right, emotions and existence is irrelavant. There seems to be a 2nd factor that that is unproportionality in terms of their actions. I guess that is linked with being dillusional and self obsessed.

stop watching the tv, movies, and listening to todays music. search for the truth and you will find it

@mixerNack You can look at your reflection all day and not be a narcissist. It depends on your attitudes, thoughts, feelings, especially about yourself and other people. A reason personality disorders can't be diagnosed in people under 18 is that adolescence can look a lot like narcissism, although most grow out of it before being adults.

I'd like to hear what you have to say about the dynamic with narcissistic mothers/parents and their children--young and adult children.

@francinemyersonne well spoken....I have a parent like that and everyone thinks my parent is so perfect and caring.............it's HELL taking care of this parent not that they have Alzheimer's..

@rosskay No one. I had lots of the symtpoms. Over time ive gotten rid of them by not starein at my reflection too long and gettin out of the habbit that i was gettin into whic hwas manipulateing people. And i started bein true to myself...all that.

Sounds very familiar to me - and MixerNack, it really is a truism to say that if you're worried about being a narcissist, you probably aren't - but it does sound like you need some help and support given your very difficult start in life. Good luck - and whatever narcissistic traits you may possess, take heart in the fact that just by thinking about it, you are streets ahead of many adults.
