You are really dumber than I thought you were.
I have an uncle who has worked as a doctor in the medical system in france who seems to disagree with you. He says changing the system here would be a mistake. But he is just stupid and insolent.
You didnt tell me what regulations you proposed. they already have laws against domestic violence. Enforcement is the key.

And where is proof that it will "pul everyone else down"? Universal healthcare exists in Canada and France, and they're doing well. And wanting more regulations on foster homes and more remedial action for abused children will "take from someone else"? How ignorant are you, seriously? There's no point arguing with your perspective; you'll continue to remain stupid and insolent when this conversation is over. You're disgusting.

It has absolutely everything to do with controlling women's bodies. By refusing abortion, you are FORCING women to become human incubators against their will.... and if you think abortion= murder, well, that's fine, that's your personal opinion, but I think and know "pro-life"= anti-woman and whaty they're proposing is rape of the woman's body. I will not stand for forcing a woman to be pregnant if it is not what she desires.

Nobody is saying one is better than the other. What I'm saying is that all children should be WANTED, and not had for the sake of having. Every woman deserves to choose what happens to their bodies. I value that individual woman's wants and needs more than I do a hypothetical bundle of cells. Luckily there are enough people in Washington with sense to let women make that choice.

No,... it cannot be discussed for very long unless you want to shut your eyes very tight and believe what you want to believe instead of the truth.
The truth is, all people are collections of cells, if you want to get it down to the basics. You are a collection of cells, just the same as that fetus, as am I. Who are we to say this collection is better than that one, they are both human lives! Murder is Murder!

Why would we care about controlling the bodies of women? It has nothing to do with control it has to do with MURDER.
And you act like those social programs you mentioned will do jack-shit to help the poor, they won't. they will simply bankrupt and pulle veryone else down. the government can only give what it has first taken from somoene else. It is up to people to donate and help the poor through churches and charities.

What I'm SUGGESTING is that in a country that refuses to pay for universal healthcare, for public childcare or makes any attempt to reverse the awful foster care conditions, why don't we focus on improving the situation for already living babies? Most pro-lifers only care about controlling the bodies of women, then don't give two shits about the baby and the conditions in which it lives.

Defining when life begins can be discussed until the cows come home. The question is: does this woman want to commence pregnancy? No? They she shouldn't feel forced. The emotional argument of "how would you feel if you were aborted is moot": I wouldn't feel anything, because I've been aborted. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

How would you feel if one day someonde decided you were just a collection of cells and wanted to kill you because that was in line with their beliefs?

Its not as simple as that. If your thought process was really applied to its fullest, then we shouldn't punish murder in any capacity. Just cause I think its wrong, why should I stop others from doing it? After all, not everyone has the same beliefs as I.
