@XuchiwaX We can hardly speak English properly, nevermind learning another language. I hear double negatives and wrong verb agreements all the time among adults. Also, Hispanic and Latin Americans make up a third of the US population, so Spanish seems the natural choice. I wish I had chosen French though; It is such a beautiful language. I sing along to Manu Chao and pretend that I am fluent. One day!

@kooldavewarren Thanks for complementing french :)It's a pity that few people are learning that language. But when you say that it's hard to learn, I feel proud to be french because I hadn't difficulties to learn french because it's my native language! And I can speak and understand english too and easier than you are when you have to understand french ;)I came back from my holidays, I was in England, it was really nice ! And I hope for coming to the US when I become an adult!sorry for mistakes!

@XuchiwaX French is a beautiful language. I am entering my 2nd year of French at Calif. State University, and plan to visit Paris next Spring. Yes, French is percevied as "hard to learn" by many Americans. Unfortunantly, for many reasons, the teaching of any 2nd language in the US schools is not a primary concern. Many students do not take a 2nd language until high school or college, and most colleges only require 3 semesters to earn a degree.

It's funny to see that french people can speak english and unfortunatly english people don't speak french. When we're french we've to learn english to understand most of internet videos but english people don't :/ I really want to know what english persons think about french, do you find it difficult to learn or not interesting ? As I'm concerned, I'm french and it's a pleasure to understand you and learn your language ;)
