You know what I have noticed, there are very few good bands that are not from U.S.A. Why?

there are many great bands in Europe.. but they do not get famous as fast as American bands do.. it's kinda weird..
or (if you are from America) you do not know our bands, 'cuz noone else in USA knows 'em even if tey are famous in Europe.. i mean.. in Europe many people do not know awesome american bands too.. if there is anything that everyone knows, it's stupid comercial RnB and so on.. kinda sad

Yea, I am from America. But I have searched for quite a while and have not found very many. Or I have and just don't know that they are. But like Parkway Drive, IKTPQ, Sonic Syndicate and maybe a couple others are all I know that are not American. Maybe give me a couple names? But I see what you mean.

Try Korpiklaani..that is not music like this, but it's enjoyable as hell :D
I also love Sonata Arctica, Sabaton, In Flames and BFMV.. it's not that heavy like this, but you maybe could like it :)

Alright, I already know of BFMV, but I only like one of their songs. I checked out the bands you listed. I must say that they aren't what I would normally listen where as I would normally listen to bands like A thousand times repent, as i lay dying etc. Ty for the ideas though

@ILikeMetal14 its probly coz metal doesnt get much commercial exposure, and its all about the r&b phase that has apperantly "taken over the world". not on my watch.

Yea, Metal is probably one of the few genres that is listened to that is mostly decent lyrics wise along with stuff that mostly everyone can relate to unlike this mainstream r&b and such.
