Merci beacoup..de toute facons je aime cet disc la', mais je suis d'accord avec toi, les arrangement ne sont pas rien de special..et pour etre honnete, meme les arrangements de l'orchestre qui jouait avec nous etait rien de particulier LOL..:-)..i'ai oubliè du tout mon francais..pardon!!

The songs of "from genesis..." are great but the result on the album is sometimes sounding like ... well... The orchestral arrangements are not top! The demo versions on "Genesis archive" are much better and the Gardenwall's covers too!

Yeah, i could never understand how some of my supposed Genesis fan friends couldn't get into that first album. I love it and think it's very much a Genesis album and contains all the seeds of what would later develop.
As for this song in particular, I always thought the very end of "Chamber of 32 doors" echoes it. Probably just because of the words 'take me away'.
I wonder if these guys do "In Hiding". It's off to find out now.

It's great to hear these Genesis-songs in a Live-version. I always felt that the songs were pretty good, but producer Jonathan King used one track for the orchestral arrangements and the one track for the entire band. The result is a badly-produced album with pretty good songs!
