@B1GAL95 thanks. But with my experience that I have now I would go for a fender jazz bass. but stingray style basses are indeed good for slapping and the rest.

@RYANN36 Despite the fact of this being an old commet, almost any bass can be good for slapping as long as its a bolt on kneck...the trick is to loosen the bolts at the back of the neck and where the bottom of the neck meets the front of the body, just wedge something underneath it, tighten back up and that should bring your strings closer too the fret board.. if i had too recommend a bass for slapping it would definitely be the "stingray" style, especially the Flea bass!!

amazing ! you are playing this song very well :) i have to play this song at school, although a few weeks ago i never played a bass guitar before! i practised now, and i can play it a bit but not as good as you! it is a really hard song for a beginner like me ..
