20 years ago today, Steve Marriott was taken from our world in such a tragic fashion. Time to remind everybody that the fire which burnt within him, was more permanent, and intense than the one which so sadly took him from us .
Rock on Steve . Humble Pie performing at the Orpheum Theatre, Boston .

  • @DazedConfused1969 I only saw him as a Rhythm, but I believe there were some double leads recorded. Not sure if he played or Framtom over dubbed.

  • @klawrence738 did steve ever play lead/solos or just rythm?

  • docs r overrated

  • my wife, girl friend at the time left town for Canada vacation. we were bummed we would miss this show, cause HP was on tour with Edgar Winter Group. We loved both. When we arrived in Montreal, we found the tour was there too. We go 4th row seats and had a wonderful time. What a show. Oh yea, we drove from Baltimore to Montreal, with Hurricane Agnes on our heals all the way. By the way in 1972 our show in Montreal had Peter Frampton on Guitar! No Clem was in Canada, I have picture to prove it.
