I loves you porgy

I tried to play this wonderful song in a pseudo rubato style, just to let ideas take place. I think the most difficoult task when improvising is to find a voice, a melody that has somehow a correlation with the main theme.Sometimes you get it, sometime you don't, that's one of the risk of the real improvisation.For some chord changes I took inspiration from the Keith Jarrett version.

What a gorgeous rendition - rich and shaded. You make the piece search for new meanings, both harmonically and melodically. Its exploratory searching is outstanding. If the piece were mine, I might follow the main melody a little less closely in the second half.
