@mcdebitto The real definition of corporation is more broad. Not just private businesses. Our government is considered a corporation. As is FEMA, the IRS, ETC. It comes from the latin word Corpus, meaning body.

I use Mussolini's definition of Fascism; "Fascism is more aptly called corporatism, for it is the fusion of state power with corporate power." Communism entails the abolition of all private property, so the state belongs to everyone and no one (in theory, at least). The important question is, who owns the state; everyone, or a few?
