  • Remember listening to this being done live. It was one of those times when time stops. If you love great music you know exactly what I mean

  • I remember hearing this live on the radio about 10+ years ago. For anyone who doesn't know this is the one that started it all. Skin & Bones would never have came to be if it wasn't for this one moment in musical history. Dave didn't even plan on playing everlong let alone have an electric with him that day. Baba Booey was the one who started chanting everlong in the studio and dave retuned his acoustic and started playing this masterpiece. This was and still is an epic performance by Dave Grohl

  • Its amazing to hear this recording, its like when this song is played acoustic it has a much deeper more somber meaning behind it. Its just awesome, words fail to describe the feelings

  • @Nebbyker Makes one realize why they are entertainers and I am not....

  • @dynamicangel I also remember that Saturday midnight Stern show on tv where I first saw Dave play this song...it was one of those moment where u just stare with your jaw dropped, with a tingling feeling...10 years later I still get cravings to hear this same playback...thanks Baba Booey for suggesting this song hah!

  • @kirsplat Congratulations.

  • oh phuh huck this is greatness

  • i listened to this with my mom live when i was little

  • Doesn't anyone have the actual video of this?

  • approaching Godhead...

  • WOW, it's a lot faster than I remember! I remember thinking it was so slow...that was before all the covers began popping up.

  • @MrJayrock620 Actually I think this was in and around 2004-2005, I remember because I heard this when it was happening live on Howard Stern, I was listening to while working in a factory that made pipe and Howard Stern was the only thing that kept me sane.
