In the beginning, I sort of thought you weren't playing it right, you slide into the 9th fret and you dont really palm mute like Dave. It seemed like it lacked something...but I kept watching since I love all your other covers. This grew on me quickly and I've watched it several times now... Definitely up there with Reiner's Dave covers. Good work making it your own, especially since this isnt an easy song to play n sing. Keep up the good work, Cheers! Lastly, sick Taylor- Its my dream guitar

Wow, that's a pretty cool compliment. I actually do play this quite a bit differently now than when I made this video. I think I palm-mute everything now more than I used to in general. Reiner's covers are great, so to be considered anywhere close makes me pretty proud. :)

yeah it is a fun one. "jimi thing" refers to the fact that it's similar to a Hendrix lick. :)
