http://www.ted.com Danish architect Bjarke Ingels rockets through photo/video-mingled stories of his eco-flashy designs. His buildings not only look like nature -- they act like nature: blocking the wind, collecting solar energy -- and creating stunning views.
TEDTalks is a daily video podcast of the best talks and performances from the TED Conference, where the world's leading thinkers and doers give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes. Featured speakers have included Al Gore on climate change, Philippe Starck on design, Jill Bolte Taylor on observing her own stroke, Nicholas Negroponte on One Laptop per Child, Jane Goodall on chimpanzees, Bill Gates on malaria and mosquitoes, Pattie Maes on the "Sixth Sense" wearable tech, and "Lost" producer JJ Abrams on the allure of mystery. TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design, and TEDTalks cover these topics as well as science, business, development and the arts. Closed captions and translated subtitles in a variety of languages are now available on TED.com, at http://www.ted.com/translate. The illustration of Darwin and evolution is a poor example of 'progressing' architecture. Architecture requires intent. It requires a mind capable of eliminating and constructing design concepts, which hold the best possible solutions for those who occupy a structure.

can't say for sure but it's most likely done in adobe flash. Same with the one @ 16:00, I am sure they used Lumion for the short walkthrough that follows that one

that one is just a concept though, and concept designs are always too literal.

I feel sorry for you that you can't appreciate the art, workmanship, and thought that went into the projects he describes.

Does anyone know what app he used for the diagram animation from 11:30-12:15? It's not Sketchup or Studio Max.
