  • It was June 26th, not 25th.

  • @Tatooinedragracer Technically you are indeed correct. The Battle of the Little Bighorn was fought over June 25-26, 1876, and Custer fell on June 26th. My apologies for my error in narration.

  • Actually Custer was killed and fell up on top of the hill behind you. He was found next to where the present day obelisk now stands. He was later buried down the slope of the hill and then in the 1920's the marker was moved again even farther down the hill to its present location. The present "fell here" marker location is in fact some 54 feet away from where Custer really fell.

  • @markkali01 Actually Custer died on the first day of the battle, June 25, 1876. Not June 26th.
