Global Education was the topic of the Indiana University School of Education Alumni Associations annual reception and panel discussion, held September 30 at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The topic was "Improving Indiana's Global Competitiveness: The Role of International Education." Former head of the World Food Programme and current Pacers Sports and Entertainment President Jim Morris hosted the event and started the discussion. Indiana State Superintendent of Public Instruction Suellen Reed joined IU School of Education Professors Chris Leland and Terry Mason on the panel.

In this short video, hear how each panelist highlights thoughts about global education in Indiana and how the IU School of Education is addressing the issue through its teaching and research projects.
