Ok I got this off of my tv from a dvd I bought. Not that clear in the music, but still nice. The dance is usually performed for the king's inauguration. If you guys are interested in getting the dvd give me a message and I'll tell you the site where you can buy it and other Khmer dance dvds. Just to save you guys some times about where you can buy the dvd the site is http://starofcambodia.com/ and I do not have any connections and I don't own the store it's just where I get my dvds from.

  • i have difficulty understanding the lyrics to, but thwai chea kettiyous means like a "great offing" or something along those lines.

  • Maybe its an old audio recording. Or the singers are older...

  • these vocals don't sound like the people of today, but more like those from sos math's time...or maybe its just Yan Borin and them whist they were still young....can anybody tell me?

  • yeah, its just a euphemism for a prostitute unfortunately. can't change the name of a dance. phka meas phka prak is used to refer to gold and silver flower, what else can they call it?

  • hey, but isn't calling someone pkha meas an insult? why would they call a dance by that name? or if you use it with pkha prak make it sound better?
