@teamEP789 Dumber? This is better in that each cylinder in the correct firing order is switched over precisely.
Honda's system is fire and forget.

@MrSlevin22 I know, vtec is pretty crude anyway, I think the only reason the fanboys love it is because of the sound (fair enough!).

@rdcL yeah vvt is timing( when fue/air goes in), lift has to do with the quantaty of air and fuel

@davidzzz94 sorry kid, Alfa Romeo and Nissan started mass producing VVT engines years ahead of Honda. The original even dates back to the steam engine era.

Everyone thats crying about how Hondas VTEC is the original VVT needs to brush up on a little history this stuff has been around sense WW2 long before the B16 in fact as far as the Asian market goes Nissan had it first
