This flash mob performance was organized by English undergraduate students at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) as part of our Practicum teaching project (which is about forms of protest through the Internet).
We paid homage to all the teachers who have been so important in our [academic] lives... This is also meant to emphasize the idea that the teaching profession should be better valued and recognized in our society.
