Claw - Level 1 - 87 Seconds

Well, I finally got it. I finished the first level of Claw in quite a fast time in my opinion. 87 seconds, this is without using the dynamite trick near the Second Save point. If I used that, it saves only around 5 seconds, and uses TWO sticks of dynamite. In the next level, there is a dynamite trick spot that saves 11 seconds for just ONE stick of dynamite, so it's much better.

I did this in two segments. I did from the start to the level 2 save point, and then from there to the end. I'm extremely happy with how it came out, and tbh I'm a little scared of Level 2. I had this one so well planned, the next feels like I'm flying a little blind. But it's gonna be great when this run is finished. I can't wait to submit it to SDA.

What input is the easiest way to jump up ladders? All I manage to do is press either left or right and jump while in your video it's straight up. Are you using v1.3 of Claw cause my installation CD only includes 1.2. Thank you :)

@dinmamma333k I don't remember what version I was playing, but for the ladder climbing, it was holding up, and then as soon as I grabbed on and started climbing, I'd jump, then grab, then jump, then grab, then jump. Seemed the fastest way.

Good job, you shouldn't have jumped on that many crumbling pegs after sp1, 2 crumbling pegs would do

I tried that, but I was much more consistent doing the small jumps, as if I tried to do just 2, I'd occasionally fall after missing it. I'd figure it makes little difference anyway, since you move the same speed all the time anyway don't you?

I know there is a glitch in level 11, I myself beated that level in under 1 minute, but how the fuck did someone beated that in 14 seconds?
