Corinne Hermés was really overrated in my opinion, especially since Ofra Haza and Carola totally ruled the evening. But well, at least they came 2nd and 3rd.

Spain's entry this year was... interesting. After I've heard it a few times, I don't find it as terrible as I used to. But I don't think I will ever like it. I understand why the juries weren't impressed by it, and I'm astonished by its high score in your own poll.

belgium made a big impression on me. great instrumental song. but at that time it was too alternative, specially for this kind of contest. these days it would be well accepted.
