Freshman year of film school. The beginning of a lengthy downward plunge from which one can never recover. The lofty ambitions of bright-eyed, passionate youth are systematically dismantled just as much by their peers as by faculty and administration. The end result is a yearly crop of eternally sad young adults eager to take on the uncreative demands of an increasingly uncreative industry. This video is to commemorate the spirit of the "before" crowd, even if we were mad stoopid. Special thanks to New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
