  • @marco1963 I don't know, I just know we don't allow abortion but read a letter online from UHJ to a woman about in the case of rape and they said it was her decision in light of the writings.

  • @hybridflare

When did the House legislate on that?

  • "Nothing short of the unity of the entire human race shall suffice to heal the ills which afflict mankind."

"The earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens."

"Glory not in this, that you love your country. Rather glory in this, that you love mankind."

    Baha'u'llah

  • "And now, concerning thy question regarding the creation of man. Know thou that all men have been created in the nature made by God, the Guardian, the Self-Subsisting. Unto each one hath been prescribed a pre-ordained measure, as decreed in God's mighty and guarded Tablets. All that which ye potentially possess can, however, be manifested only as a result of your own volition. Your own acts testify to this truth." Gleanings from the Writings of Baha'u'llah

  • How do you change things? How do you unite religions?...by accepting an ideal and working towards changing yourself to fit that ideal. We won't become perfect in those ideal views, but by working towards them we make the negatives less. As examples we can alter the views of other people and can influence others to change their ways. Being a positive influence works...slowly perhaps, but it works. Getting others to consider justice and values gets them to ask, "Should I change?" a bahai view

  • Religion shouldn't be shunned it shouldn't be mocked, Bahai is idealistic and it's very utopian and far off, but is positive influential power. And it's ballsy, it's better than christianity, that is very strict and essentially postpones worshippers lives by continuously talking about the after life. I like Bahai i would never consider becoming a believer, but i don't think just becuase i wouldn't join it means i should hate upon it. It's positive influential power...

  • Did you know that there are more working parts, gears, motors, sensors, detectors, flow of information, and intricate details of energy cycle in a single bacterium than your computer? Did you know there's more information contained in DNA than the entire Internet? Is it possible that a random collection of parts just whirled together into the Internet? Then explain DNA coding without Intelligence.

  • I think it might be a sort of metaphor about the trials of being a Baha'i. One who is Baha'i will get flak, but the Baha'i keeps his faith through it all.

  • It is nice that you found your way. While no one can disprove the existence of a god, no intelligent person should believe in anything that is not rational. Just because there are "gaps" in scientific explanation regarding human origin, it does not mean the gaps are proof of a god. In fact, the scientific community has continued to make the "gaps" smaller every year.We are all atheist. we no longer believe in old gods like Mitra, Zues, Asman...etc. Some of us just go one god further. Wage peace
