This video provides an impression of the colourful creole culture of the Seychellois people that remains strong today. The time of the Creole Festival in October, is an annual celebration of Seychelles Independence and an especially good time to visit.

  • @Colossians3vers17 'preciate the info thanx!

  • @akaroyalljelly But if you have the money, moving there is definitely worth it :)

It’s a lovely place and I miss it loads. Sometimes you didn’t have much choice when shopping, and you have to get used to the culture and the character of the people but If you are cool with that, then you are gonna be fiiiine :D

  • @akaroyalljelly

hmm.. I couldn’t tell you like that really.. I know that when I lived there with my parents it was already very expensive :/ and now it’s even worse, price wise.. Local, poorer people are having a hard time surviving nowadays – its getting really bad for them I am afraid!

  • @Colossians3vers17 how expensive is it to live there. I am thinking about relocating there

  • I lived there for 7 years - and wish I could go back..

  • @HimeBerrii that is just off the coast of East Africa so ofcourse black people must be there.

  • They completely forget the Chinese pirates who were based there - rape and pillage, you know. Parts of my family are from the Seychelles, and they look very East-Asian, as do I a bit.
