In God's Country

Kelly Rowan ('The O.C.') stars as Judith Jacob, a woman trapped in marriage to Josiah Leavitt, a Pastor of a Morman Polygamist Colony. Judith flees the colony after hearing that in two days The Prophet will arrive to greet her. She desperately searches for a new life for her and her five children, but nothing will stop Pastor Leavitt from abducting his family and dragging them back to his prison in God's Country. In this small clip from the film I play a Mormon churchgoer, sitting right behind Kelly Rowan.

This was a GREAT movie! Mama did the right thing just in time.....after the attempted rape of her 12 year old daughter. The last straw was when they were going to marry her daughter off!

@stwirl I don't know where you can buy the movie, but I strongly recommend that you read the books by Carolyn Jessop, Flora Jessop, Irene Spencer, and Elissa Wall. All these women escaped the FLDS. Carolyn's is the best. Irene's is probably the most heartwrenching.
