  • Harry Patch, The last of the Tommie's falls in, completing the Ranks.

"The Lost Generation." now fully assembled once again, but this time to rest all together in the peace that they all fought so bravely to achieve.

  • Mr. Harry Patch, You were a great man, and a damn fine soldier. I loved listening to your accounts. You and your generation did what you had to do, and did it very well. Rest in well earned peace.

  • Florence Green.

She JUST died at the agae of 110. she was the TRUE last WWI veteran. NOW WWI is history.

  • These days people make hero`s out of footballers, singers, even big brother nobodys. This man is one of my true hero`s indeed alongside a man I knew also called Harry who was a rear gunner on the Lancasters during ww2.

  • Its been more than 2 years since Harry passed away.

I hope we have the capability to really hear and understand the testimony and message Harry left us all....and that no one will ever have to live through the horrors of war again. Unfortunately today there are many smaller wars being fought still....and as Harry puts it in one of his many interviews in his calm and wise way ....."Why?............No......."

God speed Harry Patch, may you find eternal peace on the other side. And Thank you!

  • I read the book "The last fighting Tommy". I enjoyed his memories of how he was wounded when with his Lewis gun crew and his hospital days and the friends he made there. .His return to England, and his memorys of it's aftermath, and waste of war..

  • God bless Mr Patch and all of the young men past and present that fight for us.

  • @SamHagagaga And now, WWI passes into history.

  • Go tell the Spartans. that thou passest by, that faithful to their precepts, here we lie.

  • He is home now with his brothers. Rest in Peace good sir.

  • @Gettysburg20thMaine amen to that

  • Were fools to make war on our brothers in arms
