@pumping2 they went through everyone inside and outside metal. at the time steve was going through crap (bruce leaving,wife divorce etc..) and i guess he knew the subsequent musical tone with be much darker .. the x factor is nothing but that- perfect for blaze. its a bit unfair for him (or anyone) to sing how bruce did night in and night out

One of the best songs of Maiden. Blaze sings it not so bad, but Bruce kicks asses!!

I think the band really and quickly needed to hire someone to sing.That can be an explanation why this guy was part of Maiden temporarily.There are millions of much better singers in metal gender still looking for job
