The word God has so many meanings as well. If she would have just said God, which God is it; Allah, Hindu gods? It's a great song, and people who have tasted the God of Israel would know that she is talking about him. I'm sorry but a song cannot be used to substitute the word of God and the truth about him as a way to witness. This song for those who know him that wants to worship him. Take any chrisitian artists C.D and give to a non-christian, they won't be saved listening to a song.

pretty song but never does she mention God, Christ, Savior etc. How would a person that does not believe know that this song is about God? He he who?? Your best friend?? Boyfriend? Your dog?? He who. I think a religious song should mention God's name in there at least once. She could have changed the last verse to say. God is with you and that would have been perfect.

I used to be really oblivious to the real meaning of this song and I was currently running away from God or at least trying to but running away from the one you love most isn't the answer to what you need and I've figured that out the hard way and I'm just hoping that ppl don't learn the way I did and make mistakes that could honestly mess them up on the inside.I'm 14 now and I know God much better than I did then.Just praying that it would inspire many ppl to follow Jesus' footsteps.
