Michael Pearl vs. CNN's Lazy Reporter

I have been shamefully remiss in my coverage of Michael and Debi Pearl, when I looked at the last video I made about the Pearls, I realized that it has been a year since I last did anything to bring attention to these monsterous fundies. I will try to do better in the future.
While I'm glad CNN finally got around to doing a story on the Pearls, the way they handled the interview with Mike and Debi is shamefully poor reporting.

I have know the Pearls for 35 years, there is no pretense in him or Deb at all. We were neighbors renting little 750 sq.ft homes, he has even borrowed money from me at that time. The millions of dollars you are talking about has not changed him a bit. The money belongs to the ministry and he would not take a penny of it for himself.The money he spends on his self comes from his own talents and labor. The man is a genius to tell you something.

His Bible teaching saved my 10 children .

I 've been reading a lot of comments about "To train up a child" . many generic references to "studies" and "statistics" with no actual links or reference to source. And yes I am to lazy to go look it up for myself , or too busy spending time with my wife and 8 children. who seem to be happy with the job i am doing so far. I have no problem with research just list the source.

I have met the Pearls personally and I have heard Mike speak. He doesn't advocate any kind of abuse. Try reading some of his articles and then make an educated assesment.
