  • Why so many little holes instead of one big hole? Won't the spout become rather difficult to keep clean?

Thanks for explaining the hole in the lid. I'm wondering, though if the lid actually fits so closely that it doesn't let air in around the edges?

  • Trying to keep up with you here !

holes are to strain the tea so it stays in the pot ! not in the mug .Teapots you dont clean ,just rinse out with clean water after use. SL

  • Helped out a lot for my highschool teapot, thanks so much!

  • Do you find that your spouts twist durring firing?

  • sorry to dug this up but have you got any tips on how to make the tea flow freely out of the pot...? I'm having a bit of trouble with the last little bit dribbling out of the spout... I have tried making the tip of the spout sharp and everything... just recenlty I have cut the angle of the spout abit more will this help?

  • The pill box design of the lid is very nice.

  • Ahh - I never use bags (unless I hang them around the handle. Leaves is my bag.

  • People who bought my early teapots with the single hole said the teabag went into the big hole and blocked it.

  • I'll be done with your past videos tomorrow or the next day. I'm just guzzling it all in and adding to my Pottery favourite list so I can easily go back and watch them again right before trying something.

I'm a clean freak. Got worse when I lived in the Middle East, so you will have to forgive me, but I wash my tea pots with soap and water. I have different "baskets" to put tea in so it won't go out the spout anyway. So - I will follow your basics, but do my own thing.
